Benjamin Gedeon (born 18 June 2006), known professionally as Cosmó (stylized in all caps), is an Austrian and Hungarian singer and songwriter. He represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 on home soil in Vienna with the song “Tanzschein”.

Johannes Pietsch (German pronunciation: [joˈhanəs ˈpiːtʃ]; born 29 April 2001), also known by his stage name JJ, is an Austrian singer. He won the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 for Austria with the song “Wasted Love”.

Marie-Sophie Kreissl (born 12 November 1994), also known professionally as Kaleen, is an Austrian singer, dancer and choreographer. She represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “We Will Rave”.

Selina-Maria Edbauer (born 11 March 1998), known professionally as Salena, is an Austrian singer and songwriter. She represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 alongside Teya with the song “Who the Hell Is Edgar?”, finishing in 15th place.

Pia Maria Außerlechner (born 21 May 2003), who performs as Pia Maria, is an Austrian singer. She represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 alongside DJ Lumix.

Vincent Mendoza Bueno (born 10 December 1985) is an Austrian singer of Filipino descent. On 12 January 2008, he became the winner of the ORF programme, Musical! Die Show (Musical! The Show), an Austrian television musical contest. Vincent Bueno represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with “Alive”; and later represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “Amen” with 66 points.

Gabriela Horn (born 25 January 1988), known professionally as Paenda (pronounced “panda”; stylised as PÆNDA), is an Austrian singer, songwriter and music producer. She represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song “Limits”, which was released on 8 March.

“Nobody but You” is a song by Austrian singer Cesár Sampson. The song represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The song title was revealed to the public on 7 December 2017, and was composed by Sampson himself, Borislav Milanov and Sebastian Arman (both of the collective Symphonix International), and by Swedish songwriter Joacim Persson who has been involved in the composition of a number of songs for Bulgaria, notably Poli Genova’s Eurovision 2016 entry “If Love Was a Crime” and in Kristian Kostov’s Eurovision 2017 entry “Beautiful Mess” and by Swedish songwriter Johan Alkenäs. “Nobody but You” was released on 9 March 2018.

Nathanaele Koll (born 4 April 1992), known professionally as Nathan Trent, is an Austrian singer. He represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Running on Air” finishing in 16th place.

Zoë Lauren Straub (German pronunciation: [ˈzoːiː ˈʃtʁaʊp]; born 1 December 1996), known professionally as Zoë (stylized in all caps), is an Austrian singer, songwriter and actress. She represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Loin d’ici”, placing thirteenth in the grand final.

The Makemakes are an Austrian pop rock band, comprising Dominic “Dodo” Muhrer, Markus Christ and Florian Meindl. They represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “I Am Yours”.

Thomas Neuwirth (born 6 November 1988) is an Austrian singer, actor, media personality and drag queen who is known for his stage persona Conchita Wurst, nicknamed “the queen of Austria”. He came to international attention after winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 for Austria with the song “Rise Like a Phoenix”. Born in Gmunden, Neuwirth moved to Graz to do his Matura exam with a focus on fashion, before embarking on a singing career through the 2007 casting show Starmania. He subsequently became a founding member of Jetzt Anders!, a short-lived boy band.

Natália Kelly (born December 18, 1994) is an American-Austrian singer. She currently resides in Bad Vöslau, Lower Austria. Kelly represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, with the song “Shine”.

Trackshittaz were an Austrian hip-hop band from Mühlviertel, made up of Lukas Plöchl (a.k.a. G-Neila) and Manuel Hoffelner (a.k.a. Manix). The duo represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song “Woki mit deim Popo”, after winning the Austrian national final, but did not pass the semi-final finishing last in the first semi-final and scored just 8 points which was the lowest of all the semi-final entrants.

Nadine Beiler (born 27 May 1990) is an Austrian R&B and pop singer, who won the third season of the Austrian casting show Starmania in 2007. On 16 February 2007, she released her first single, “Alles was du willst”. Currently, Beiler is a professional singer and songwriter based in both Vienna and Tyrol, where she lives in Innsbruck. Beiler represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her entry “The Secret Is Love” and came 18th.

Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song “Get a Life – Get Alive”, composed by Greg Usek, with lyrics by Austin Howard, and performed by Eric Papilaya. The Austrian participating broadcaster, Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), internally selected its entry for the contest. In October 2006, ORF announced that it would be returning to the contest after a one-year absence following its withdrawal in 2006 due to poor results in 2005. On 20 February 2007, ORF announced that they had internally selected Eric Papilaya to compete at the 2007 contest, while “Get a Life – Get Alive” was presented to the public on 7 March 2007.

Global Kryner were a six-piece Austrian folk group, consisting of clarinet player Christof Spörk, bass trombonist, tenor and yodeller Sebastian Fuchsberger, guitarist Edi Koehldorfer, trumpet player Karl Rossmann, accordion player Anton Sauprügl, and jazz vocalist Sabine Stieger. The group has won numerous awards in Germany and Austria, and represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song “Du bist”, written by Peter Zimmermann, and performed by the group Tie Break. The Austrian participating broadcaster, Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), organised the national final Song.Null.Vier in order to select its entry for the contest. Ten songs competed in a televised show where a public vote exclusively selected “Du bist” performed by Tie Break as the winner. As one of ten highest placed finishers in the 2003 contest, Austria directly qualified to compete in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 15 May 2004.

Alf Poier (born 22 February 1967 in Judenburg, Styria) is an Austrian artist and stand-up comedian. Alf Poier represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with “Weil der Mensch zählt”, finishing in 6th place with 101 points.

Manuel Hanke (born 8 April 1980), known professionally as Manuel Ortega, is an Austrian singer of Spanish origin. Manuel Ortega represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with “Say a Word”, finishing in 18th place with 26 points.

Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song “All to You”, written by Dave Moskin, and performed by the group the Rounder Girls. The Austrian participating broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), internally selected its entry for the contest. The broadcaster announced that it had internally selected the Rounder Girls as its representative, while “All to You” was presented to the public on 29 February 2000 during the ORF programme Metropol. Austria competed in the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 13 May 2000.

Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song “Reflection”, written by Dave Moskin, and performed by Bobbie Singer. The Austrian participating broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), internally selected its entry for the contest. The broadcaster returned to the contest after a one-year absence following its relegation from 1998 as one of the six entrants with the least total average points over the preceding five contests. On 12 February 1999, ORF announced that it had internally selected Bobbie Singer, while “Reflection” was presented to the public on 25 February 1999 during the ORF programme Vera.

Bettina Soriat (born 16 March 1967 in Linz) is an Austrian singer. Bettina Soriat is a singer, dancer, actress, comedian, and choreographer. Her first success came with the girlgroup “Three Girl Madhouse” and their single-hit “Always gonna be around you” was released in 1990. Bettina Soriat represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with “One Step”, finishing in 21st place with 12 points.

Marcel Palonder (born 3 February 1964 in Humenné, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak singer. He represented his country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song “Kým nás máš”. His song qualified from the semifinal, and it placed 18th place with 19 points in the final, receiving points from four other countries: four points from Greece, eight points from Malta, five points from Poland and two points from Spain. As of 2026, this remains the best result Slovakia has ever achieved in Eurovision.

Stella Jones (born as Stellisa Zacher in 1971), is a soul and jazz singer, pianist, arranger and composer. Stella Jones represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with “Die Welt dreht sich verkehrt”, finishing in 13th place with 67 points.

Petra Frey (born 27 June 1978), is an Austrian singer. She has released twelve studio albums and five compilation albums and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 1989 he performed “Nur ein Lied” (“Only A Song”) in Lausanne, giving Austria the fifth place — their highest position since their last win in 1966 and until Austria’s win in 2014. Forstner was selected to represent Austria again in Rome in 1991. His entry, “Venedig im Regen” (“Venice in the Rain”) came in last at 22nd, failing to score a single point.

Simone Stelzer (born 1 October 1969) is an Austrian pop singer. In 1990 she participated in “Ein Lied für Zagreb”, the Austrian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song “Keine Mauern mehr” was initially placed second, however, several days after the final it was discovered that winning song “Das Beste” performed by Duett had participated in a German national final in 1988. Duett were therefore disqualified and Simone was announced as the Austrian Eurovision entrant.

Austria was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 with the song “Sonntag”, composed by Michael Mell, with lyrics by Rudolf Leve, and performed by the band Mess, consisting of Fritz (real name Michael Scheickl) and Elisabeth ‘Lizzi’ Engstler. The Austrian participating broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), selected its entry through a national final.

Martin Brem (born 23 April 1959), also known by his stage name Marty Brem, is an Austrian-born former singer, record executive and entrepreneur currently active in Salzburg and Los Angeles. He is known to wider audiences for his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, representing Austria in 1980 as a member of the band Blue Danube and as a soloist in 1981, singing “Wenn du da bist” amidst somewhat unusual choreography performed by female dancers in an equally unusual selection of costumes. After Brem’s Eurovision exploits, he undertook various musical ventures, which included new wave and punk music. Brem also became a music journalist, and joined Philip Morris as a marketing consultant 1988, only to return to the music industry in 1992 as marketing director for Phonogram/Universal.

He was voted the country’s best male singer in the annual Český slavík (Czech Nightingale) national music award 42 times, most recently in 2017. He achieved considerable success in the USSR and the German-speaking countries, where he was known as “the Golden Voice of Prague”, winning the Goldene Stimmgabel award three times (1982, 1984, and 1995). Over the course of his career he released over 100 albums and 100 compilation albums, and sold an estimated 50–100 million records worldwide, 23 million of them in the German-speaking market, and about 15 million in Czechoslovakia and its successor states, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Dimitrios Makulis (Greek: Τζίμης Μακούλης; 12 April 1935 in Athens – 28 October 2007 in Athens), known as Jimmy Makulis, was a Greek singer who had a successful career in German-speaking markets in the 1950s and 1960s, and is known for his participation on behalf of Austria in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest.

Harry Winter (24 September 1914 – 3 December 2001), born Horst Winter, was a German-Austrian singer, musician and band director. Harry Winter represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1960 with “Du hast mich so fasziniert”, finishing in 7th place with 6 points.

Ferry Graf (14 December 1931 – 26 July 2017) was an Austrian singer, who later became a Finnish citizen. Ferry Graf represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 with “Der K. und K. Kalypso aus Wien”, finishing in 9th place with 4 points.

Liane Augustin (18 November 1927 – 30 April 1978) was a German-Austrian singer and actress. Liane Augustin represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 1958 with “Die ganze Welt braucht Liebe”, finishing in 5th place with 8 points.
