Alice Van Eesbeeck (born 30 March 1996), known professionally as Essyla (often stylized in all caps), is a Belgian singer and songwriter. In 2020, she rose to prominence as a finalist on the ninth season of The Voice Belgique. She represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Dancing on the Ice”.

Seppe Guido Yvonne Herreman (pronounced [ˈsɛpə ˈhɛrəˌmɑn]; born 13 May 1999), known professionally as Red Sebastian, is a Belgian singer-songwriter. He represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song “Strobe Lights”.

Thomas Michel Mustin (French pronunciation: [tɔma miʃɛl mystɛ̃]; born 21 November 1990), better known by his stage name Mustii, is a Belgian actor and singer. As part of his career he has released two albums 21st Century Boy and It’s Happening Now, which have both peaked inside the top ten of the Belgian Albums Charts. He is also known for being a judge on Drag Race Belgique. Mustin represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Sweden with the song “Before the Party’s Over”.

Stef Caers (Dutch pronunciation: [stɛf ˈkaːrs]; born 5 July 1980), known professionally as Gustaph, is a Belgian singer-songwriter, producer and vocal coach. He represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom with the song “Because of You” and finished 7th place.

Jérémie Makiese (French pronunciation: [ʒeʁemi makjese, -eze]; born 15 June 2000) is a Belgian singer and footballer, who rose to fame after winning The Voice Belgique 2021. He represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “Miss You”.

Hooverphonic is a Belgian electronic band that was formed in October 1995. Though originally categorized as a trip hop group, they quickly expanded their sound to the point where it could no longer be described as a belonging to a single genre, but rather as encompassing alternative, electronica, electropop, rock, and a mixture of others. The band was originally named Hoover, but was later renamed Hooverphonic to avoid confusion with bands already using the Hoover name, and a possible legal copyright problem with the vacuum cleaner company. Since their formation, Hooverphonic’s lineup has consisted of bassist Alex Callier, guitarist Raymond Geerts, and various lead singers. Hooverphonic represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with “Release Me”; and later represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “The Wrong Place”, finishing in 19th place with 74 points.

Eliot Vassamillet (born 29 December 2000) is a Belgian singer. He represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song “Wake Up”. Prior to Eurovision, he competed in the seventh season of The Voice Belgique in 2018.

Laura Groeseneken (born 30 April 1990), also known as Sennek, is a Belgian singer and songwriter. She represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song “A Matter of Time”, but did not make it to the final. Groeseneken has performed as the keyboardist for Belgian musician Ozark Henry, performing with him at Rock Werchter. She worked as a visual merchandiser for IKEA, while also working as a vocal coach in her hometown.

Ellie Noa Blanche Delvaux (French pronunciation: [eli nɔa blɑ̃ʃ dɛlvo]; born 10 June 1999), better known mononymously as Blanche [blɑ̃ʃ], is a Belgian singer and songwriter. She represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine with the song “City Lights”, finishing in fourth place. Blanche previously competed on season five of The Voice Belgique, where she was a member of Team Cats on Trees.

Laura Tesoro (born 19 August 1996) is a Belgian singer and actress. She represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “What’s the Pressure”. Tesoro is also known for portraying Charlotte on the Flemish soap opera Familie and placing second on season three of The Voice van Vlaanderen. The singer was also one of the four coaches on The Voice Kids, and is currently a coach The Voice van Vlaanderen.

Loïc Jean-Pierre Nottet (French pronunciation: [lɔik nɔtɛ]; born 10 April 1996) is a Belgian singer, songwriter and dancer. He began his career as a singer in the third season of The Voice Belgique in 2014 and represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where he placed fourth with his song “Rhythm Inside”. After the contest, he released “Million Eyes”, the first single from his debut album Selfocracy, which later topped the charts in Belgium, reached number eight in France and number twenty in Switzerland. His second studio album Sillygomania was released on 29 May 2020.

“Love Kills” is a song recorded by Belgian singer Roberto Bellarosa. The song was written by Jukka Immonen and Iain Farquharson. It is best known as Belgium’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 held in Malmö, Sweden. The song competed in the first semi-finals on 14 May 2013 for a spot in the finals on 18 May 2013.

Laura van den Bruel, known as Iris or Airis (born 19 January 1995), is a Belgian singer. Iris represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with “Would You?”, finishing in 17th place with 16 points.

Witloof Bay is a Belgian a cappella group. Witloof Bay represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with “With Love Baby”, finishing in 11th place with 53 points.

Tom Eeckhout (born 25 November 1989), known professionally as Tom Dice, is a Belgian singer-songwriter. He finished runner-up in the Flemish version of The X Factor in 2008 using his birth name Tom Eeckhout, but soon after changed his name taking the stage name Tom Dice. He represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 final on 29 May in Oslo with “Me and My Guitar” ending up sixth overall. Dice was also the first Belgian act to qualify for the final since the introduction of the semi-finals in Eurovision.

Patrick Ouchène (born 5 December 1966) is a Belgian singer, best known for being the lead singer of the rockabilly band Runnin’ Wild. Patrick Ouchène represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with “Copycat”, finishing in 17th place with 1 points.

Ishtar is a Belgian (Flemish) folk band who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song “O Julissi”, sung in an imaginary language. They competed in the first semi-final on 20 May 2008.

The KMG’s (Krazy Mess Groovers) is a Belgian group that won the chance to represent Belgium with the song “Love Power” in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. Since the Eurovision Song Contest only allow six performers on stage at one time, a part of the group did not perform at the song contest. Those who participated were Sexyfire, Mr Scotch, Mr French Kiss, Big Boss, Mr Cream and Lady Soulflower. At Eurovision, they performed 24th in the running order and were not announced for the top 10 qualifiers having placed 26th in a pool of 28 finishing with 14 points.

Katrien Verbeeck (born 22 July 1980), known professionally as Kate Ryan, is a Belgian singer and songwriter. She rose to prominence in the early 2000s with dance-pop recordings, several of which were covers of French-language hits, and is best known for her 2002 version of Mylène Farmer’s “Désenchantée”, which charted across Europe. Ryan represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song “Je t’adore”. She is the recipient of a World Music Award for best-selling Benelux artist, and according to her record label has sold around 3.5 million records over her career.

Nuno Resende (born 25 June 1973) is a Portuguese singer. Nuno Resende represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with “Le Grand Soir”, finishing in 22nd place with 29 points.

Xandee is a stage name of Sandy Boets (born 18 December 1978 in Tienen), Flemish singer who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. At the age of 16 she founded the pop duo Touch of Joy with Serge (Sergio) Quisquater. Sergio and his band Sergio & The Ladies represented Belgium in ESC 2002 with the song “Sister”. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul Xandee sang the dance uptempo song “1 Life” in the contest.

Urban Trad is a Belgian folk music group, consisting of both Flemish and French speaking people and a close connection with Galicia. Urban Trad represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with “Sanomi”, finishing in 2nd place with 165 points.

Serge Jean Karel Quisquater (born 5 July 1965), known professionally as Sergio Quisquater or simply Sergio, is a Belgian singer and television presenter. Together with Sandy Boets, he formed the duo Touch of Joy. As the frontman of the band Sergio & the Ladies, he represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song “Sister”.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song “Envie de vivre” written by Silvio Pezzuto, and performed by Nathalie Sorce. The Belgian participating broadcaster, Walloon Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française (RTBF), selected its entry for the contest through the national final Finale Nationale Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 2000. In the national final on 18 February 2000 which featured ten competing entries, “Envie de vivre” performed by Nathalie Sorce was selected as the winner solely by public televoting. Belgium competed in the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 13 May 2000.

Vanessa Chinitor (born 13 October 1976, Dendermonde, East Flanders) is a Belgian singer, best known outside Belgium for her participation in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song “Dis oui”, written by Philippe Swan, and performed by Mélanie Cohl. The Belgian participating broadcaster, Walloon Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française (RTBF), selected its entry through a national final. The entry placed sixth out of the 25 entries, scoring 122 points.

Lisa del Bo (born Reinhilde Goossens on 9 June 1961 in Mopertingen, Belgium) is a Belgian singer who is popular in her own country and also in Germany. Lisa del Bo is a Flemish singer who often sings in the Dutch language but has been known to record songs in other languages as well. She represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song “Liefde is een kaartspel”, where she came 16th. She recorded a duet with fellow Belgian Helmut Lotti.

Barbara Maria Karel Deckx (born 22 January 1974), better known by her stage name Barbara Dex, is a Belgian singer who represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with the song “Iemand als jij”. Dex had qualified via the Belgian national heat, Eurosong 93, held at the Casino Knokke on 6 March. At the Eurovision in Millstreet, she performed seventh, after Greece’s entry “Ellada, chora tou fotos” and before Malta’s song “This Time”. Dex came last, in 25th place.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song “Nous on veut des violons”, composed by Claude Barzotti, with lyrics by Anne-Marie Gaspard, and performed by Morgane. Clouseau is a Flemish pop and rock group, having success in Belgium and the Netherlands since being established in the late 1980s. Apart from a brush with English material in the early 1990s they perform in Dutch. Their biggest hits are “Daar gaat ze” (“There she goes”, a #1 hit in the Netherlands in 1990, and rerecorded in English as “Close Encounters”) and “Passie” (“Passion”, a #1 hit in the Netherlands in 1995). Clouseau represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with “Geef het op”, finishing in 16th place with 23 points.

Philippe Lafontaine (born 24 May 1955) is a Belgian singer and composer. Philippe Lafontaine represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with “Macédomienne”, finishing in 12th place with 46 points.

Ingeborg (born Ingeborg Thérèse Marguerite Sergeant, 15 October 1966, Menen) is a Belgian singer and television presenter, best known outside Belgium for her participation in the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest.

Reynaert (born Joseph Reynaerts; 24 July 1955 – 5 November 2020) was a Belgian singer-songwriter, best known for his participation in the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest.

Liliane Saint-Pierre (born Liliane Louise Keuninckx, 18 December 1948) is a Belgian pop singer. Hailing from Flanders, she sings mostly in Dutch. She competed at Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with the song “Soldiers of Love”.

Sandra Caldarone (born 15 October 1972), better known as Sandra Kim, is a Belgian singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen, Norway.

Linda Lepomme (born 16 March 1955) is a Belgian actress and singer who represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in which she sang “Laat me nu gaan”. She earned seven points finishing in 19th (last) place overall.

Jacques Zegers (born 25 June 1947, Brussels) is a Belgian singer, best known for his participation in the 1984 Eurovision Song Contest.

Pas de Deux (Walter Verdin, Dett Peyskens and Hilde van Roy) were a Belgian band, best known for their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1983, and the controversy surrounding their selection as that year’s Belgian representatives. The band was formed by Verdin in Leuven in 1982.

Stella Maessen (born 6 August 1953 in Zandvoort, North Holland) is a Dutch singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contests of 1970, 1977 and 1982.

Emly Starr (birth name Marie-Christine Mareels; 5 September 1957 in Laarne, Belgium) is a Belgian disco singer. She also appeared in the documentary film Santiago Lovers by Romano Ferrari. She has participated in several dance and song contests. In the World Popular Song Festival at Tokyo in 1980 with the entry “Mary Brown”, she was finalist as Emly Starr Explosion. Emly Starr represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with “Samson”, finishing in 13th place with 40 points.

Telex was a Belgian synth-pop group formed in 1978 by Marc Moulin, Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers, with the intention of “making something really European, different from rock, without guitar—and the idea was electronic music”. Telex represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1980 with “Euro-Vision”, finishing in 17th place with 14 points.

Micha Marah (born 26 September 1953) is a Belgian singer and actress. She represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1979 with the song “Hey Nana” which she detested and only recorded in 2023. After the contest recorded albums for children and schlager music in Dutch, since 1994 changed her musical style and has sung in English with Celtic influences.

Jean Vallée (born Paul Goeders in Verviers on 2 October 1941 – 12 March 2014, Clermont-sur-Berwinne) was a Belgian songwriter and performer. Vallée was appointed Knight of the Order of the Crown by HM Albert II in 1999. Jean Vallée represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1970 with “Viens l’oublier”, finishing in 8th place with 5 points; and later represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 with “L’amour ça fait chanter la vie”, finishing in 2nd place with 125 points.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1977 with the song “A Million in One, Two, Three”, written by Luc Smets, and performed by Dream Express. The Belgian participating broadcaster, Flemish Belgische Radio- en Televisieomroep (BRT), selected its entry through a national final.

Pierre Rapsat (born Pierre Raepsaet, 28 May 1948 – 20 April 2002) was a Belgian singer-songwriter who had a very successful career in his homeland and also spells of popularity in other Francophone countries. Outside these areas, he is best known for his participation in the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest.

Ann Christy (born Christianne Leenaerts, 22 September 1945 in Antwerp – 7 August 1984 in Meise) was a Belgian singer who is best known internationally for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1975.

Jacques Hustin (15 March 1940 – 6 April 2009) was a Belgian singer-songwriter and artist who was successful in his homeland in both fields, and is best known internationally for his participation in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest.

Nicole and Hugo were a Belgian singing duo of Nicole Josy (born Nicole Van Pamel; 21 October 1946 – 4 November 2022) and Hugo Sigal (born 10 November 1947 as Hugo Verbraeken). Nicole and Hugo represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 with “Baby Baby”, finishing in 17th place with 58 points.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with the song “À la folie ou pas du tout”, written by Daniel Nélis and Bob Milan, and performed by Serge and Christine Ghisoland. The Belgian participating broadcaster, Walloon Radiodiffusion-télévision belge (RTB), selected its entry through a national final, after having previously selected the performer internally. The Ghisolands had previously participated in the 1970 national final.

Lily Castel (born Alice van Acker on 10 April 1937) is a Belgian singer, best known for her participation with Jacques Raymond in the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest.

Jean Vallée (born Paul Goeders in Verviers on 2 October 1941 – 12 March 2014, Clermont-sur-Berwinne) was a Belgian songwriter and performer. Claude Lombard (25 February 1945 – 20 September 2021) was a Belgian singer, best known internationally for her participation in the 1968 Eurovision Song Contest.

Louis Neefs (born Ludwig Adèle Maria Jozef Neefs, 8 August 1937 – 25 December 1980) was a Belgian singer and presenter, known for his participation in the Eurovision Song Contests of 1967 and 1969.

Tonia (born Arlette Antoine Dominicus, 25 July 1947, Anderlecht) is a Belgian singer, best known for her participation in the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest.

Lize Marke (born Liliane Couck, Denderleeuw, 1 December 1936) is a Belgian singer, best known for her participation in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest.

Robert Cogoi (born Mirko Kogoj, 25 October 1939 – 14 May 2022) was a Belgian singer, best known for his participation in the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest.

Jacques Raymond (born Jozef Remon on 13 October 1938) is a Belgian singer. He represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 with the Dutch song “Waarom?”. In the Eurovision Song Contest 1971, he teamed up with Lily Castel to sing “Goeiemorgen, Morgen” for the Belgian entry on short notice after Nicole Josy of Nicole & Hugo fell ill.

Belgium was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1956 with two songs: “Messieurs les noyés de la Seine”, composed by Jean Miret and Jack Say, with lyrics by Robert Montal, and performed by Fud Leclerc; and “Le Plus Beau Jour de ma vie”, composed by Claude Alix, with lyrics by David Bée, and performed by Mony Marc. The French-speaking department of the Belgian participating broadcaster, the National Broadcasting Institute (NIR/INR), organised a national final to determine its two entries for the contest. “Messieurs les noyés de la Seine” was the first-ever entry from Belgium performed in the Eurovision Song Contest, and the first-ever entry in French in the contest. Held on 15 April 1956, the national final saw ten songs compete to be the Belgian entries; the results were determined by the jury panel and postcard voting.
