Dalal (Arabic: دلال) is a sub-district located in Ba’dan District, Ibb Governorate, Yemen. Dalal had a population of 14776 as of 2004. Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with “Ljubav je”, finishing in 11th place with 104 points.

Maja Sarihodžić (née Hodžić; Bosnian pronunciation: [mǎːja sǎrixodʒitɕ]; born 12 July 1981), known by her stage name Maya Sar, is a Bosnian singer-songwriter. She represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song “Korake ti znam”. Her debut album Krive riječi was released 1 June 2013.

Edin Dervišhalidović (born 12 September 1962), known professionally as Dino Merlin, is a Bosnian singer-songwriter and record producer. Nicknamed “The Wizard” (Bosnian: Čarobnjak), he is widely regarded as one of the most prominent and commercially successful artists to have emerged from the former Yugoslavia. Born in Sarajevo in 1962, Dino founded and led the band Merlin, one of the best-selling rock groups in Southeast Europe. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has released over a dozen critically and commercially successful albums, embarked on numerous record-breaking tours, and received many honors, including the Sixth of April Sarajevo Award in 2017. Dino Merlin represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with “Love in Rewind”, finishing in 6th place with 125 points.

Vukašin Brajić (Serbian Cyrillic: Вукашин Брајић; pronounced [ʋukǎʃin brǎːjitɕ]; born 9 February 1984) is a Bosnian pop-rock singer who rose to fame after participating in the first season (2008–09) of Operacija trijumf, the ex-Yugoslav version of Star Academy, in which he came in second place. He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country of his birth, at Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway, with the song “Thunder and Lightning”.

Regina (born Irena Jalšovec, 4 July 1965, Murska Sobota, Yugoslavia — now Slovenia) is a Slovenian singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996.

Elvir Laković, (a.k.a. Laka; born 15 March 1969), is a Bosnian rock singer-songwriter, born in Goražde, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Laka represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with “Pokušaj”, finishing in 10th place with 110 points.

Marija Šestić (Serbian Cyrillic: Марија Шестић; born 5 May 1987) is a Bosnian singer and musician. She is most known for representing Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. Performing the song “Rijeka bez imena” (“Nameless river”), Šestić collected a total of 106 points, placing eleventh out of twenty-four entries.

Hari Mata Hari is a Bosnian pop band. Hari Mata Hari is the stage name for the singer Hari Varešanović. The group originated from the city of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group has performed over 1,000 concerts and sold 5 million albums to date. Hari Mata Hari represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with “Lejla”, finishing in 3rd place with 229 points.

Feminnem is a girl group from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina composed of three members. They represented both countries at the Eurovision Song Contest; Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005 (with original members Ivana Marić, Neda Parmać and Pamela Ramljak) and Croatia in 2010 (when the group consisted of Nika Antolos, Parmać and Ramljak). On 21 February 2012, Pamela, Neda and Nika decided to start solo careers and leave Feminnem and effectively disbanded the group. They were named after American rapper Eminem.

Fuad Backović (born 12 April 1982), better known by his stage name Deen, is a Bosnian pop singer, reality star and fashion designer. Backović was the lead singer of the Bosnian boy band 7Up from 1997 until 2002, when he became a solo artist. He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song “In the Disco”. In 2008, Backović competed on the reality television show Farma.

Mija Martina Barbarić (born 26 April 1984) is a Bosnian Croat singer and TV host from Bosnia and Herzegovina who used to work as a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song “Ne brini”. She also provided the results of the Bosnia and Herzegovina televote in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. She was also organizer of special events during the biggest Economy Fair in Mostar (for Mostar Inc.) for 10 years.

Maja Tatić (Serbian Cyrillic: Маја Татић) (born 30 October 1970 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian singer, best known for representing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002.

Dean Martin (born Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 – December 25, 1995) was an American singer, actor, comedian and television host. Nicknamed the “King of Cool”, he is regarded as one of the most popular entertainers of the 20th century. Martin gained his career breakthrough together with comedian Jerry Lewis, billed as Martin and Lewis, in 1946. They performed in nightclubs and later had numerous appearances on radio and television and in films. Dino & Béatrice represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with “Putnici”, finishing in 7th place with 86 points.

Alma Čardžić (Serbian Cyrillic: Алма Чарџић; born 10 March 1968) is a Bosnian singer. She’s best known internationally for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contests in 1994 and 1997.

Amila Glamočak (née Čengić; Serbo-Croatian Cyrillic: Амила Гламочак; born 19 July 1966 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian singer. She participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song “Za našu ljubav” for Bosnia and Herzegovina, finishing 22nd out of 23. She appeared in the Bosnian national final on two other occasions (2001 and 2003) but failed to qualify. She now lives in Turkey and is remarried.

Davorin Popović (23 September 1946 – 18 June 2001) was a Bosnian Croat singer and songwriter. Born in Sarajevo and well known throughout the former Yugoslavia, he is considered to be one of the greatest rock singers of the region. Popović was the lead singer and frontman of the progressive and pop rock band Indexi throughout most of their career. The band would become founders of a specific music style in the former Yugoslavia, known as “Sarajevo pop-rock school”, which later influenced other bands and singers in Sarajevo and other parts of Yugoslavia. Davor Popović represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with “Dvadeset prvi vijek”, finishing in 19th place with 14 points.

Alma & Dejan represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 with “Ostani kraj mene”, finishing in 15th place with 39 points. Publicly documented information about the artist’s later career is limited.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with the song “Sva bol svijeta”, composed by Dino Dervišhalidović, with lyrics by Fahrudin Pecikoza, and performed by Fazla. The Bosnian-Herzegovinian participating broadcaster, Radiotelevision of Bosnia-Herzegovina (RTVBiH), selected its entry for the contest through a national final. This was the first-ever entry from independent Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest.
