“Mother Nature” is a song by Luxembourgish singer-songwriter and violinist Eva Marija. It represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. It is the first Luxembourgish entry in the contest to be performed entirely in English, and the first of Luxembourg’s entries to fail to qualify since their return to the contest in 2024.

Laura Thorn (pronounced [ˈlɑʊ̯ʀaː ˈtoːɐ̯n]; born 18 January 2000) is a Luxembourgish singer and music teacher. She represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song “La poupée monte le son”, finishing in 22nd place overall with 47 points.

Tali Golergant (Hebrew: טלי גולרגנט, romanized: Ṭali Golergent; born 26 November 2000), known mononymously as Tali (stylized in all caps), is an Israeli-born Luxembourgish singer, songwriter, actress, vocal coach and music teacher. She represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Fighter”, finished in thirteenth place in the final with 103 points.

Luxembourg was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song “Sou fräi” (Luxembourgish pronunciation: [zəʊ̯ ˈfʀæːɪ̯]; transl. ”So free”), written by Jang Linster and Ab van Goor, and performed by Marion Welter and the band Kontinent. The Luxembourgish participating broadcaster, the Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Télédiffusion (CLT), selected its entry through a national final, after having previously selected the performer internally. CLT organised a national final in order to select Marion Welter and Kontinent’s song and “Sou fräi” emerged as the winning song on 22 March 1992 following a public postcard vote. Luxembourg competed in the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 9 May 1992.

Lara Sophie Katy Crokaert (born 9 January 1970), known professionally as Lara Fabian, is a Belgian and Canadian singer and songwriter. Having sold over 12 million records worldwide, she is one of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time. Born in Brussels to a Belgian father and an Italian mother, she moved to Quebec in 1990 and, since 1995, has held Canadian citizenship alongside her Belgian one. Lara Fabian represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 with “Croire”, finishing in 4th place with 90 points.

Roger François Jouret (born 24 February 1954), better known as Plastic Bertrand, is a Belgian musician, songwriter, producer, editor and television presenter, best known for the 1977 international hit single “Ça plane pour moi”. Plastic Bertrand represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with “Amour amour”, finishing in 21st place with 4 points.

Sherisse Laurence (later known as Sherisse Stevens) is a Canadian singer and entertainer from Selkirk, Manitoba. From 1978 to 1983 she hosted the show Circus on CTV in Canada. She was also the host of the Miss Teen Canada pageants in 1982 and 1983, and performed on Canadian television talk shows including The Alan Thicke Show and City Lights. In 1986 she represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1986.

Diane Solomon is an American singer, songwriter and nutritionist, who was part of the group who represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985, in which they sang “Children, Kinder, Enfants”. They received 37 points and finished in thirteenth place.

Sophie Carle (born 7 June 1964) is a Luxembourgish actress and singer mostly operating in France. She has appeared in several films, and represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song “100% d’amour”. She was only the fourth native Luxembourger to represent the country, after Camillo Felgen (1960 and 1962), Chris Baldo (1968) and Monique Melsen (1971).

Corinne Hermès (born Corinne Bondeaux; 16 November 1961) is a French singer. She represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 where she won with “Si la vie est cadeau” (“If life is a gift”), which brought the Grand Duchy its fifth and hitherto final victory.

Her distinctive musical style incorporated experimental sound design, “sugary” synthesised textures, and underground dance elements. She helped pioneer the 2010s hyperpop microgenre. Sophie rose to prominence with a string of breakthrough singles led by “Bipp” (2013); these were compiled on the singles collection Product (2015). Sophie & Magaly represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1980 with “Papa Pingouin”, finishing in 9th place with 45 points.

Jeane Manson (born Jean Ann Manson on October 1, 1950) is an American model, singer, and actor, born in Cleveland, Ohio. Her first name was changed from “Jean” to “Jeane” because, as all of her career was in France after 1974, the French would have otherwise thought that she was a man, “Jean” being the French for “John”. After being photographed for Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Month in August 1974, she moved to France and appeared in several films, including Bons Baisers de Hong Kong (1975). The following year, she became known for the song “Avant de nous dire adieu”. Jeane Manson represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 with “J’ai déjà vu ça dans tes yeux”, finishing in 13th place with 44 points.

Baccara was a Spanish female vocal duo formed in 1977 by Spanish artists María Mendiola (4 April 1952 – 11 September 2021) and Mayte Mateos (born 7 February 1951). The duo rapidly achieved international success with their debut single “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie”, which reached number one across much of Europe and became the best-selling single of all time by a female duo, eventually selling more than 16 million copies worldwide. A successful follow-up single (“Sorry, I’m a Lady”) and European tour led to a number of album releases, numerous television appearances and the duo’s selection to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 with “Parlez-vous français ?”. Despite a substantial following in Spain, Germany and Japan, by 1981 their blend of disco, pop and Spanish folk music was no longer fashionable, and by 1983 Mateos and Mendiola were both working on solo projects.

Anne-Marie David (born 23 May 1952) is a French singer. She has represented both Luxembourg and France at the Eurovision Song Contest, winning in 1973 and placing third in 1979.

Jürgen Marcus (born Jürgen Beumer; 6 June 1948 – 17 May 2018) was a German schlager singer who was most successful during the 1970s, when he had 14 chart hits in Germany. He is also known for his participation on behalf of Luxembourg in the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest.

Geraldine Brannigan, (born 1954), (sometimes listed as Geraldine Branagan) known professionally as Géraldine, is an Irish singer, known for finishing in fifth place in the Eurovision Song Contest 1975 with the song “Toi” while representing Luxembourg.

Ireen Sheer (born 25 February 1949) is a German-English singer. She had her first major hit in 1970 with Hey Pleasure Man. She had a top five hit on the German singles chart with “Goodbye Mama” in 1973. She went on to finish fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 representing Luxembourg, sixth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 representing Germany, and thirteenth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 representing Luxembourg again.

Anne-Marie David (born 23 May 1952) is a French singer. She has represented both Luxembourg and France at the Eurovision Song Contest, winning in 1973 and placing third in 1979.

She is the daughter of singer, musician and composer Leandros Papathanasiou (also known as Leo Leandros as well as Mario Panas). In 1967, she achieved worldwide fame after gaining fourth place for the country of Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “L’amour est bleu”, which became a worldwide hit. She further established her career by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song “Après toi”, again representing Luxembourg.

Monique Melsen (born 24 February 1951) is a Luxembourgish singer, best known for her participation in the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest. Melsen is one of only ten native Luxembourgers to have represented the country at Eurovision in its 39 participations.

David Alexandre Winter (born Lion Kleerekoper; 4 April 1943) is a Dutch-born international pop singer. Winter found fame in Luxembourg and France. David Alexandre Winter represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1970 with “Je suis tombé du ciel”.

Romuald Figuier (French pronunciation: [ʁɔmy.ald fiɡje]; 9 May 1938 – 12 May 2026), also known mononymously as Romuald, was a French singer. Romuald represented Monaco at the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 with “Où sont-elles passées”, finishing in 3rd place with 15 points; represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1969 with “Catherine”, finishing in 11th place with 7 points; and later represented Monaco at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with “Celui qui reste et celui qui s’en va”, finishing in 4th place with 14 points.

Romuald Figuier (French pronunciation: [ʁɔmy.ald fiɡje]; 9 May 1938 – 12 May 2026), also known mononymously as Romuald, was a French singer. Chris Baldo & Sophie Garel represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 with “Nous vivrons d’amour”, finishing in 11th place with 5 points.

Michèle Torr (born Michelle Cléberte Tort 7 April 1947) is a French singer and author, best known in non-Francophone countries for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg in 1966 and for Monaco in 1977.

Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall (9 October 1947 – 7 January 2018), known professionally as France Gall (French: [fʁɑ̃s ɡal] ), was a French yé-yé and pop singer. In 1965, at the age of 17, she won the tenth edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Poupée de cire, poupée de son”, representing Luxembourg. Later in her career, she worked with singer-songwriter Michel Berger, whom she married in 1976. Her most successful singles include “Il jouait du piano debout”, “Ella, elle l’a” and “Évidemment”.

Hugues Jean Marie Auffray (French pronunciation: [yɡ ʒɑ̃ maʁi ofʁɛ]; born 18 August 1929), better known as Hugues Aufray, is a French singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is known for French-language covers of Bob Dylan’s songs. Aufray knew Dylan and his work from his time in New York City, as well as from record shops, and his translations capture the rawness of the original songs. His most famous original songs are “Santiano”, “Céline”, “Stewball” and “Hasta Luego”. Hugues Aufray represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 with “Dès que le printemps revient”, finishing in 4th place with 14 points.

Ioanna “Nana” Mouskouri (Greek: Ιωάννα “Νάνα” Μούσχουρη [i.oˈana ˈnana ˈmusxuri]; born 13 October 1934) is a Greek singer and politician. Over the span of her career, she has released an estimated 450 albums in at least thirteen languages, including Greek, French, English, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Hebrew, Welsh, Mandarin Chinese and Corsican. Mouskouri became well known throughout Europe for the song “The White Rose of Athens”, recorded first in German as “Weiße Rosen aus Athen” as an adaptation of her Greek song “Σαν σφυρίξεις τρείς φορές” (San sfyríxeis tris forés, “When you whistle three times”). It became her first record to sell over one million copies. Nana Mouskouri represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 with “À force de prier”, finishing in 8th place with 13 points.

Danièle Dupré (French pronunciation: [danjɛl dypʁe]; 16 November 1938 – 24 November 2013) was a French singer from the 1950s. She was most notable for representing Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1957 with her song Amours mortes (tant de peine) – Faded Love (So Much Pain) – where she finished in a tie for fourth. Her recordings include several EPs for Polydor. She died on the 24th of November 2013 at the age of 75.

Michèle Arnaud (French pronunciation: [miʃɛl aʁno], born Micheline Caré; 18 March 1919 – 30 March 1998), was a French singer, recording artist, and director. She was buried on 18 September 1998 at Montparnasse Cemetery. She is the mother of the singer Dominique Walter and the photographer Florence Gruère. Arnaud was awarded a Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur and Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Michèle Arnaud represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1956 with “Ne crois pas”.
