Aidan Cassar (Maltese pronunciation: [ˈɛɪ̯dɐn kɐˈsːɐːr]; born 17 December 1999), known mononymously as Aidan (stylized as AIDAN), is a Maltese singer and songwriter. He represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Bella”.

Miriana Conte (Maltese pronunciation: [mɪrɪˈjɐːnɐ ˈkɔntɛ]; born 17 December 2000) is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Sarah Bonnici (Maltese pronunciation: [ˈsɐrɐ bɔˈnːiːt͡ʃɪ]; born 30 May 1998) is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Loop”.

The Busker is a Maltese indie pop band founded in 2012, consisting of three members, namely David “Dav.Jr” Meilak (born 11 October 1994), Jean Paul Borg (born 27 August 1993), and Sean Meachen (born 19 November 1993). The band represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Dance (Our Own Party)”, which peaked at number one in their home country of Malta for 13 consecutive weeks and was the country’s most played song of 2023.

Emma Louise Marie Muscat (born 27 November 1999) is a Maltese singer-songwriter and pianist working in Italy. She represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “I Am What I Am”.

Destiny Chukunyere (born 29 August 2002), known mononymously as Destiny, is a Maltese singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where she represented Malta with the song “Not My Soul”. In 2017, she participated in the eleventh series of Britain’s Got Talent and finished 6th in the second semi-final and thus was eliminated. She won the second season of the Maltese version of The X Factor and was chosen to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song “All of My Love” before the contest was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Christabelle Borg (born 28 April 1992), sometimes known mononymously as Christabelle, is a Maltese singer, songwriter, and television presenter. She represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song “Taboo”, but failed to qualify for the final, finishing in 13th place with 101 points.

Claudia Faniello (born 25 February 1988) is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Breathlessly”. She came 3rd with the song Gmielek in the Maltese festival MuzikaMuzika 2022. In October 2024, Faniello joined the long-running Maltese television program Sibtek as one of its co-hosts, alongside Ryan Borg and Josmar.

Ira Losco M.Q.R. (born 31 July 1981) is a Maltese singer and songwriter. Her career breakthrough came in 2002, when she represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song “7th Wonder”. She placed second in the competition, Malta’s best ever result.

Amber Bondin (born 26 May 1991), also known mononymously as Amber, is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Firelight is a pop/folk-band founded in 2013 by vocalist Richard Edwards Micallef in Malta. Michelle Mifsud (vocals and piano), Wayne Williams (vocals, keys and guitar) and Daniel (guitars) are all Richard’s siblings. The band is completed by Tony Polidano (bass) and Leslie Decesare (drums). Firelight’s style is a mix of pop, rock, country and folk. Firelight represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with “Coming Home”, finishing in 23rd place with 32 points.

Gianluca Bezzina (born 9 November 1989) is a Maltese singer and medical doctor who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden.

Kurt Calleja (born 5 May 1989) is a Maltese singer. He represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song “This Is the Night”. The song qualified from the second semi-final into the Eurovision final, where it finished 21st. In 2022 he scored another hit with “Bla Tarf”, a Maltese-language song with which he won the festival Mużika Mużika.

Glen Vella (born 14 May 1983) is a Maltese singer, songwriter, and vocal coach. He studied voice and piano from a young age and later earned a qualification in voice coaching from the Victoria Music and Arts College in London. Glen Vella represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with “One Life”, finishing in 11th place with 54 points.

Thea Garrett (born 15 March 1992) is a Maltese singer and musical theatre performer who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo.

Morena (Margaret Camilleri, full name Margerita Camilleri Fenech) (b. 1984) is a Maltese singer. “Morena” means “brunette”, which fits her complexion. Morena represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with “Vodka”, finishing in 14th place with 38 points.

Olivia Lewis (born 18 October 1978) is a Maltese singer. She has competed in the Malta Song For Eurovision festival, which selects the country’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest several times. At her 11th attempt she finally won the 2007 festival, held on 3 February 2007, with the song “Vertigo” and represented Malta at the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest held at the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland, on 10 May 2007. However, she did not manage to qualify for the final.

The Maltese participating broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), selected its entry for the contest through the national final Malta Song for Europe 2003. The competition consisted of a semi-final round and a final, held on 7 and 8 February 2003, respectively, where “To Dream Again” performed by Lynn Chircop eventually emerged as the winning entry after scoring the most points from a five-member jury and a public televote. Malta competed in the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 24 May 2003.

Malta has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 38 times since its debut in 1971. The current Maltese participating broadcaster in the contest is the Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). Malta has yet to win the contest, but is the only non-winning country to have achieved four top three results. Malta finished last on its first two attempts in 1971 and 1972, and had a 16-year absence from the contest between 1975 and 1991, when it returned.

Miriam Christine Borg (born 30 June 1978) is a Maltese pop and rhythm and blues singer best known for representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996. She was born in Santo Antônio do Descoberto, a small city near Brasília in Brazil, but was adopted and raised on the Mediterranean island of Gozo. She took part in various singing festivals before winning the Song for Europe Festival and representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 with the song “In a Woman’s Heart”. On the night of the contest, held in Oslo, she was backed by 3 vocalists-one of whom was Georgina Abela, the wife of the composer and a former contestant.

Malta was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song “My Dream”, written by Jason Cassar and Sunny Aquilina, and performed by Thea Garrett. The Maltese participating broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), selected its entry through the national final The GO Malta Eurosong 2010. The competition consisted of a semi-final round and a final, held between 9 December 2009 and 20 February 2010, where “My Dream” performed by Thea Garrett eventually emerged as the winning entry after scoring the most points from a five-member jury and a public televote. Malta was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 25 May 2010.

Chris is a short form of various names including Christopher, Christian, Christina, and Christine. Chris is also used as a name in its own right, but it is not as common. Chris & Moira represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 with “More than Love”, finishing in 5th place with 97 points.

Mary Spiteri (born 25 October 1947) is a Maltese singer and television personality from Naxxar. She has participated in various national and international music festivals, one of which she came third when representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest. She is known for her support for the Labour Party in her home country.

Georgina Abela (born 23 April 1959) is a Maltese singer and actress. She is best known for representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest on several occasions, either as an entrant, backing vocalist or songwriter.

Nazzareno Alessandro Micallef Garrett, better known by his stage name Renato Micallef (born 19 November 1951) is a Maltese pop singer. Renato has been active in the Maltese music scene since the age of 12. Renato has toured North America, Australia and the United Kingdom where his website claims he won an award for Singer Of The Year in 1980. In 1975, he represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 12th place with Singing This Song.

Helen Ann Richardson Khan (née Richardson; born 21 November 1938), known mononymously as Helen, is an Indian actress and dancer. One of the highest-paid dancers of her time, she has appeared in over 750 films, making her a prolific performer in Hindi cinema. Known for her sensual cabaret and nautch performances on screen and glamorous fashion statements, which often incorporated colourful wigs and contact lenses, she is cited in the media as one of the greatest and most popular dancers of India. As an actress, Helen frequently played bold, westernised antagonists in a number of films. Helen & Joseph represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with “L-imħabba”, finishing in 18th place with 48 points.

Joseph Grech, MQR (9 February 1934 – 30 December 2024) was a Maltese singer. He is best known for having introduced the Maltese language to the Eurovision Song Contest 1971, the first appearance from Malta on this pan-European television event.
