Klemen Slakonja (born 3 June 1985) is a Slovenian actor, singer, comedian, television host, and musician. He was employed at the Ljubljana Slovene National Theatre Drama and acting between 2010 to 2018. He represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song “How Much Time Do We Have Left”. Slakonja studied at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television.

Sara Briški Cirman (born 26 April 1996), better known by her stage name Raiven, is a Slovenian singer, songwriter, and harpist. She represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Veronika”. She first garnered wide recognition while competing to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 for Slovenia during the national final Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) with the song “Črno bel”, where she placed second. Raiven went on to return to EMA in 2017, placing third with the song “Zažarim”, and has competed again in 2019 with the song “Kaos”, placing second.

Joker Out is a Slovenian indie rock band formed in Ljubljana in 2016. They represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Carpe Diem”, placing 21st. Their discography includes three studio albums: Umazane misli (2021), Demoni (2022), and Souvenir Pop (2024).

LPS is a Slovenian pop-rock band. They represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “Disko”.

Lea Sirk (born 1 September 1989) is a Slovenian singer, who represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018.

Omar Kareem Naber (born 7 July 1981) is a Slovenian singer, songwriter and guitar player. He first represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv with the song “Stop” and for a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv with the song “On My Way”, but failed to qualify to the final on both occasions.

Manuella Brečko (born 31 January 1989), better known as Manu, and formerly known as ManuElla, is a Slovenian singer, songwriter and music producer. She represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Blue and Red.

Maraaya are a Slovenian duo founded by Marjetka Vovk and Aleš Vovk (Raay) in 2014. The group’s name is a combination of its members’ names, while its pronunciation means “She has Raay” in Slovene. Raay is credited as co-writer and producer for many Slovenian artists. He is credited as the composer on Slovenia’s 2014 Eurovision song “Round and Round”, and they both contributed to Slovenia’s 2014 Junior Eurovision song with “Nisi sam (Your Light)” and 2015 Junior Eurovision song with “Prva ljubezen” (The First Love).

Tinkara Kovač (born 3 September 1978) is a Slovenian singer and flautist. She represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, finishing in 25th place.

Hannah Leah Mancini (born 22 January 1980), also known as Stella Mercury or simply Hannah, is an American singer and songwriter who works and lives in Slovenia. She has been heavily involved in dance, nu disco and electronic scenes there and worked with artists and producers in these genres. Hannah’s first music industry experiences had her on multiple soundtracks for Disney films and the opportunity to collaborate with Grammy winning producer, Larry Klein. She also performed at Radio City Music Hall, Universal Amphitheatre and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Hannah represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with “Straight into Love”, finishing in 16th place with 8 points.

Eva Boto (born 1 December 1995) is a Slovenian singer. At age 16, she represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, with “Verjamem”.

Maja Keuc (born 16 January 1992), also known as Amaya, is a Slovenian singer. She represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It consisted of two semi-finals on 25 and 27 May and a final on 29 May 2010, held at the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway, and presented by Erik Solbakken, Nadia Hasnaoui, and Haddy N’jie. It was organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), which staged the event after winning the 2009 contest for Norway with the song “Fairytale” by Alexander Rybak. It was the contest hosted the latest, tying with the 1999 edition.

Martina Majerle (born 2 May 1980) is a Croatian singer of Croatian descent but her grandfather was from Slovenia. Majerle represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia with the string quartet Quartissimo with the song “Love Symphony”. It competed in the second semi-final but failed to reach the final. Martina has also been a backing vocalist for several countries in various editions of the contest.

Rebeka Dremelj (born 25 July 1980) is a Slovene actress, TV host, singer, model, fashion designer and beauty pageant titleholder. She was chosen to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia, with the song “Vrag naj vzame”.

Alenka Gotar is a Slovene soprano singer, born in Rodica in 1977. With the song “Cvet z juga” (“Flower of the South”), she represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. Achieving seventh place in the semi-final, she became the first Slovene to qualify to the grand final, where she ended fifteenth with 66 points.

Anžej Dežan (born 17 June 1987) is a Slovenian singer. Anžej Dežan represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with “Mr Nobody”, finishing in 16th place with 49 points.

Slovenia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song “Stay Forever”, composed by Simon Gomilšek, with lyrics by Diana Lečnik, and performed by the duo Platin, which consists of Lečnik and Gomilšek. The Slovene participating broadcaster, Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTVSLO), held the national final Evrovizijska Melodija 2004 in order to select its entry for the contest. 32 entries competed in the national final which consisted of five shows: four semi-finals and a final. Entries were selected to advance from the semi-finals based on a public televote and a four-member jury panel.

Slovenia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song “Nanana”, composed by Martin Štibernik, with lyrics by Karmen Stavec, and performed by Karmen herself. The Slovene participating broadcaster, Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTVSLO), held the national final Evrovizijska Melodija 2003 in order to select its entry for the contest. Sixteen entries competed in the national final where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, the top three entries were selected following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public televote.

Sestre are a Slovenian drag act that represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. They were among the bookmakers’ favourites to win. Tomaž (Marlenna), Damjan (Emperatrizz) and Srečko (Daphne) had been performing together since 2000 under the name Suspender Sisters with a classic drag queen show program. In February 2002, they competed in and won the Slovenian pre-selection with their song “Samo ljubezen” and so represented Slovenia at Eurovision 2002 in Tallinn.

Nuša Derenda (pronounced [ˈnuːʃa dɛˈɾenda], born Anuška Žnideršič on March 30, 1969 in Brežice, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Slovenian singer who represented Slovenia at the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark where she achieved 7th place.

Darja Švajger (born 16 June 1965 in Maribor, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is one of Slovenia’s most popular singers, best known for having represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions.

Vili Resnik (born November 27, 1963) is a Slovenian rock singer and guitarist. Vili Resnik represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with “Naj bogovi slišijo”, finishing in 18th place with 17 points.

Tanja Ribič (born 28 June 1968) is a Slovenian actress and singer. Tanja Ribič represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with “Zbudi se”, finishing in 10th place with 60 points.

Regina (born Irena Jalšovec, 4 July 1965, Murska Sobota, Yugoslavia — now Slovenia) is a Slovenian singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996.

Slovenia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with the song “Tih deževen dan”, composed by Cole Moretti, with lyrics by Tomaž Kosec, and performed by 1X Band. The Slovene participating broadcaster, Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTVSLO), held a national final in order to select its entry for the contest. This was the first-ever entry from independent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest.
