Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song “Ljubim te pesmama”, composed by Radivoje Radivojević, with lyrics by Gale Janković, and performed by Extra Nena. The Yugoslav participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through a national final. This was the last entry from Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Dana Todorović (née Dragana Šarić; Serbian Cyrillic: Дана Тодоровић, née Драгана Шарић; born 2 October 1962), better known under the stage name Bebi Dol (Serbian Cyrillic: Беби Дол, lit. ’Baby Doll’), is a Serbian and former Yugoslav singer-songwriter, performer and actress. Known for her distinctive voice, theatrical style and eclectic musical influences, she became one of the most recognizable pop and new-wave artists of the Yugoslav music scene during the 1980s. She gained major popularity with songs such as “Mustafa,” “Rudi,” and “Inšalah”. She represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with “Brazil”.

Tatjana Cameron (née Matejaš, pronounced [tǎtjana mǎtejaʃ]; born on 1 July 1970), known professionally as Tajči ( TY-chee, Croatian: [tǎjtʃi]), is a Croatian singer, television show host, published author and blogger, who now lives in the United States. On 10 October 2025, she appeared on the Balkanskom Unicom show in Serbia where she discussed her experience with being raped during the height of her popularity in the region of Yugoslavia. She also shared how she contemplated suicide after and almost jumped off a cliff with her car. Tajči represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with “Hajde da ludujemo”, finishing in 7th place with 81 points.

Riva was a Croatian pop band formed in Zadar in 1986. Riva represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 with “Rock Me”, winning the contest with 137 points.

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 with the song “Mangup” (Мангуп), written by Rajko Dujmić and Stevo Cvikić, and performed by Srebrna krila. The Yugoslav participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through Jugovizija 1988.

Novi Fosili (English: The New Fossils) is a Croatian pop band, one of the most popular music acts in the former Yugoslavia. The group was a phenomenon of Yugoslavian pop music from late 70s until late 80s when they were at the peak of their fame, and were compared to ABBA because of their bright and fun songs with sing-along choruses and contemporary arrangements. As a group, they released 29 albums (16 studio albums and 13 compilation albums), which have sold millions of copies and they are considered one of the best selling musicians in former Yugoslavia. Novi Fosili represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with “Ja sam za ples”, finishing in 4th place with 92 points.

Dorotea Budimir (née Dragović; born 16 April 1961), better known as Doris Dragović (pronounced [dôːris drâːɡovitɕ]) or simply Doris, is a Croatian singer who has represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 with the song “Željo moja”, finishing 11th with 49 points, and Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song “Marija Magdalena”, finishing fourth with 118 points.

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song “Ciao, amore”, composed by Slobodan Bučevac, with lyrics by Milan Perić, and performed by Ida & Vlado. The Yugoslavian participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through Jugovizija 1984.

Milan “Danijel” Popović (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Милан “Данијел” Поповић; born 29 October 1955), better known simply as Daniel (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Даниел), is a Montenegrin-Croatian-Slovenian pop singer. Danijel represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 with “Džuli”, finishing in 4th place with 125 points.

Aska was a Yugoslavian girl group. They represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982, where their song “Halo, halo” placed 14th out of 18, with 21 points. It got the top mark of twelve points from the Swedish jury. The members were Snežana Mišković, Izolda Barudžija and Snežana Stamenković, who retired shortly upon her return from Harrogate and was replaced by Suzana Perović.

Seid Memić, known by his stage name Vajta, (born 8 March 1950) is a Bosnian singer and the vocalist for the Yugoslav rock band Teška industrija (“Heavy Industry”). In 1973, Vajta moved to Sarajevo, which is when his music career began in earnest. From 1975 to 1976 he was a vocalist for Teška Industrija, who enjoyed great commercial success throughout the Balkan countries but later dissolved. Soon, though, Vajta left the band to start a career as a pop singer. Seid Memić Vajta represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with “Lejla”, finishing in 15th place with 35 points.

Ambasadori (The Ambassadors) were a Yugoslav schlager pop band from Sarajevo, active from 1968 until 1980. The band is most notable for their 1975 hit single “Zemljo moja”, as well as for representing Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 with “Ne mogu skriti svoju bol”—both times with Ismeta Dervoz on vocals. They are further notable for the 1977 hit single “Dođi u pet do pet”, this time with Jasna Gospić as the vocalist. Additionally, the band gained retroactive notability for having two of their lead singers—Zdravko Čolić (sang with the band from 1969 until 1971) and Hari Varešanović (from 1979 until 1980)—later go on to Yugoslav pop stardom in their respective solo careers.

Dušan Velkaverh (12 September 1943 – 1 February 2016) was a Slovenian lyricist. Pepel in kri represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1975 with “Dan ljubezni”, finishing in 13th place with 22 points.

Korni Grupa (Serbian Cyrillic: Корни Група, trans. Korni Group) was a Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1968. Launched and led by—as well as named after—the keyboardist Kornelije Kovač, the band was one of the first Yugoslav rock acts to achieve major mainstream popularity in the country, and often considered the very first Yugoslav supergroup. Since their dissolution, Korni Grupa gained significant retroactive acclaim as one of the most influential bands in the history of rock music in Yugoslavia. Korni Grupa represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with “Moja generacija”, finishing in 12th place with 6 points.

Zdravko Čolić (Serbian Cyrillic: Здравко Чолић, pronounced [zdrǎːv̞.kɔ̝ t͡ʃɔ̝̌ː.lit͡ɕ]; born 30 May 1951) is a Bosnian and Serbian pop singer who is widely considered one of the greatest vocalists and cultural icons of the former Yugoslavia. He has been compared to Paul McCartney and Tom Jones by music critics and the general public. He has garnered fame in Southeastern Europe for his emotionally expressive tenor voice, fluent stage presence and numerous critically and commercially acclaimed albums and singles. Among his songs, “Ti si mi u krvi” (You’re In My Blood), from the eponymous album, is widely considered one of the most popular ballads of ex-Yugoslav music. Zdravko Čolić represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 with “Gori vatra”, finishing in 15th place with 65 points.

Tereza Ana Kesovija (pronounced [terěːza âna kesǒʋija]; born 3 October 1938) is an internationally acclaimed Croatian recording artist. She was one of the most recognizable figures on the music scene in the former Yugoslavia and is renowned for her wide vocal range and operatic style. She also had a successful career in France. She has held many concerts around the world, being one of the few Yugoslav musicians to have sold out shows in The Royal Albert Hall, L’Olympia and Carnegie Hall. Tereza Kesovija represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with “Muzika i ti”, finishing in 9th place with 87 points.

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 with the song “Tvoj dječak je tužan”, composed by Ivan Krajač, with lyrics by Zvonimir Golob, and performed by Krunoslav Slabinac. The Yugoslav participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through Jugovizija 1971.

Eva Sršen (born 1951 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian singer who had a short career in Yugoslav pop music in the first half of the 1970s. She first became well known by winning the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 1970. That year, she performed the song “Pridi, dala ti bom cvet” (“Come, I’ll Give You a Flower”) at the Eurovision Song Contest 1970 in Amsterdam, taking 11th place. The single version sold well in Yugoslavia, as did her follow-up song, “Ljubi ljubi, ljubi” (“My dear loves, loves”).

Alexander Ivanov (born 29 October 1994), also known mononymously as Ivan, is a Belarusian-Russian singer. He represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Help You Fly”. Ivanov was also to represent Russia in the Intervision Song Contest 2015 but the contest never happened.

The Eurovision Song Contest 1968 was the 13th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 6 April 1968 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom, and presented by Katie Boyle. It was organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), who staged the event after winning the 1967 contest for the United Kingdom with the song “Puppet on a String” by Sandie Shaw. Despite being the UK’s first win at the contest, it was actually the third time that the BBC had hosted the competition, having previously done so in 1960 and 1963, both of which also took place in London and were presented by Katie Boyle. It was the first time the event was broadcast in colour.

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 with the song “Vse rože sveta”, composed by Urban Koder, with lyrics by Milan Lindič, and performed by Lado Leskovar. The Yugoslav participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through Jugovizija 1967.

Berta Ambrož (29 October 1944 – 1 July 2003) was a Yugoslav Slovene singer. She is best known for representing Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 with the song “Brez besed” (Without Words).

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1965 with the song “Čežnja”, composed by Julio Marić, with lyrics by Žarko Roje, and performed by Vice Vukov. The Yugoslav participating broadcaster, Jugoslavenska radiotelevizija (JRT), selected its entry through Jugovizija 1965. Vukov had already represented Yugoslavia in 1963.

Sabahudin Kurt (18 July 1935 – 30 March 2018) was a Bosnian folk and pop singer. Kurt represented Yugoslavia in Copenhagen in the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 with the entry “Život je sklopio krug” (English: “Life Has Come Full Circle”). He finished in thirteenth place, scoring 0 points. Kurt recorded his first song, “Dim u tvojim očima” (“Smoke in Your Eyes”) in 1954.

Yugoslavia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1965 with the song “Čežnja”, composed by Julio Marić, with lyrics by Žarko Roje, and performed by Vice Vukov. Zorana “Lola” Novaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоранa “Лола” Новаковић); (25 April 1935 – 3 April 2016) was a Serbian singer, hugely popular during the 1960s and to a lesser degree the 1970s. She was born in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. She represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1962, where she finished fourth. In 1962, she starred in Šeki snima, pazi se, a full-length comedy inspired by the public persona of football sensation Dragoslav Šekularac.

Ljiljana Petrović (Serbian Cyrillic: Љиљана Петровић; 1939 – 4 February 2020) was a Serbian singer. She was born in Bosanski Brod, but was brought up in Novi Sad. She began to sing at local clubs and restaurants, and performed at a festival in Mali Lošinj in 1960, where she was noticed by the head of the artists and repertoire division at the record label Jugoton. In 1961, Petrović represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1961 with the song “Neke davne zvezde” (Some ancient stars).
