Luxembourg’s search for its Eurovision 2027 representative has officially begun. National broadcaster RTL has opened the application process for the Luxembourg Song Contest 2027, the national final that will determine who will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgaria.

This year’s selection introduces separate application windows for artists and songs, giving performers and songwriters greater opportunities to take part in the competition. Artists must be at least 18 years old by 15 January 2027 and have a strong connection to Luxembourg through nationality, residency or involvement in the country’s music scene. Applications for artists close on 20 September 2026.

Following the application phase, shortlisted artists will be invited to live auditions before an international jury of Eurovision experts. The finalists will then compete in the Luxembourg Song Contest 2027, scheduled to take place in late January 2027 at the Rockhal, where Luxembourg’s next Eurovision representative will be chosen.

After making its successful Eurovision return in 2024, Luxembourg continues to strengthen its commitment to the contest, with participation already confirmed for the coming editions. Fans can now look forward to discovering who will carry the Luxembourgish flag to Eurovision 2027 in Bulgaria.
